The posted coordinates are at the NTGA meeting site in Grand Prairie. Either meet here and carpool to Austin, make other carpool arrangements, or drive down by yourself.
We will be camping at Emma Long Park. Photos of the camping area are available HERE. Camping reservations are NOT required, although I'd like to know beforehand how many to expect so we can "stake out" an area. Also, please note if you want electric or water hookups. Cost is $8.00/day entry fee plus $6.00/night tent camping or $15.00/night with water/electric. Phone number for the park is 512-346-1831. If you're not into camping, there are several motels closer to downtown Austin, and since this is NOT a football weekend, there should be plenty of availability.
To log this cache, you'll need to find the cache container at N30º19.994 W097º50.364 in Emma Long Park. The container will be at the location by noon on Saturday and will remain until at least noon on Sunday.

MAP FOR CACHE CONTAINER AERIAL PHOTO Take City Park Road from RR 2222. Go about 4 miles to the gate to the park. The cache is about another mile from there, and the gate where you pay for the camping area is yet another mile.
Please post a note if you are planning to attend. Include in your note whether you plan to camp, number of people you plan on having in your group, and if you would like to carpool or not.
