EST: Antud seeria on loodud meenutamaks kunagist kitsarööpmelist Riisselja -Ikla raudteed, mis töötas aastatel 1923 kuni 1975. Tee avati liikluseks lõigul Riisselja-Orajõe 24.01.1923. Korraline reisiliiklus hakkas toimuma esialgu ainult kolm korda nädalas, puidurongid käisid iga päev. Raudtee pikendati Orajõelt Iklani 1925.a., aga Läti poolt asuva Ainaži jaamaga jäi ühendus loomata . Ikla ning Lätis asuva Ainaži jaama ühendasid sakslased Teises maailmasõjas. Liin suleti 30.09.1975, olles seega viimane üldkasutatav kitsarööpmeline raudtee Eestis.
Ikla raudteejaam oli raudteejaam kitsarööpmelise Riisselja–Orajõe raudtee 48,8 kilomeetril. Jaama asukoht jääb tänapäeval Pärnumaa Häädemeeste valla Ikla külla. Jaam avati aastal 1925. Algselt oli tegemist raudtee lõppjaamaga. Teise maailmasõja ajal pikendasid Saksa väed raudteed Heinastesse, ühendades selle Ainaži–Valmiera–Smiltene raudteega. Algne jaamahoone hävis teise maailmasõja ajal. Iklale eelnes Riisselja poolt Orajõe raudteejaam ja järgnes Heinaste raudteejaam.
Uus jaamahoone on antud kohast vähem, kui kilomeetri kaugusel antud sirgel suunaga Läti piiri poole, tänapäeval eravalduses ja kasutuses elamuna, omanik ei soovi tähelepanu ega külastusi hoone teritooriumil! Austagem siis palun eraomandit ja omaniku soove ning ei külasta antud kohta. Sellel põhjusel asub ka aare antud koordinaatidel raudteetammi serval.
ENG: This series is to commemorate the former narrow-gauge Riisselja-Ikla railway. The road was opened for traffic on the section Riisselja-Orajõgi on January 24, 1923. Regular passenger traffic initially took place only three times a week; trains carrying timber were running every day. The railway was extended from Orajõgi to Ikla in 1925, but no connection was established with Ainaži station on the Latvian side. Ikla and the Ainazi station in Latvia were connected by the Germans in World War II. The line was closed on September 30, 1975, thus being the last public narrow-gauge railway in Estonia.
Ikla railway station was a railway station on the 48.8 km of the narrow-gauge Riisselja – Orajõgi railway. Today, the station is located in Ikla village, Häädemeeste municipality, Pärnu County. The station was opened in 1925. It was originally a railway terminal. During World War II, German troops extended the railway to Ainaži, connecting it to the Ainaži – Valmiera – Smiltene railway. The original station building was destroyed during World War II. Ikla was preceded by Orajõgi railway station by Riisselja and followed by Ainaži railway station.
The new station building is less than a kilometer away from this place towards the Latvian border. It’s a privately owned nowadays and used as a residential building, the owner does not want attention or visits on the territory of the building! Please respect private property and the wishes of the owner and do not visit this place. For this reason, the treasure is also located at the given coordinates on the edge of the railway dam.
