Tartu erinevates linnaosades on üles seatud toidujagamiskapid, kuhu saavad toitu viia nii Tartu Toidujagamise vabatahtlikud, kõik toitlustusasutused kui ka inimesed, kellel kodus toitu üle jääb. Kehtib põhimõte, et vii kappi seda, mida sa ka ise sööksid. Kapid on avatud kõigile tasuta, peaasi, et võetakse ainult niipalju kui ära jõutakse süüa.
Toidukappe ehitab ja hooldab Tartu Toidujagamine (TT). TT on ligikaudu 40 inimest koondav täielikult vabatahtlikkusel põhinev liikumine, mille eesmärk on päästa söögikõlblik toit prügimäele sattumisest, leides sellele uue tarbija.
TT teeb koostööd mitmete erinevate jaekettidega, kes annavad pärast poe sulgemist vabatahtlikele üle toidu, millel on sama päeva “kõlblik kuni” kuupäev või mis on muul põhjusel müügilt eemaldatud, kuid siiski täiesti söögikõlblik. Vabatahtlikud toimetavad selle toidu kappidesse või jagavad seda avalikel ausatel toidukagamistel (AATJ), kus toit jõuab otse soovijateni.

H = Veeriku kapi juures oleva aia telliskivipostide arv pluss 1
Kappe võid kasutada vaid sihtotstarbeliselt, ehk siis toidupäästmiseks. Aarde leidmiseks pole neid vaja näppida, kuna kogu info on leitav vaid silmadega. Aare ei asu ühegi toidukapi küljes.

This is my first geocache, and what else could it be about if not foodsharing? :)
In various districts of Tartu, foodsharing points have been set up, where food can be placed by Foodsharing Tartu volunteers, any food establishments, and individuals who have surplus food at home. The principle is: put in the public storage points only what you would eat yourself. The points are open to everyone for free — the main rule is to only take as much as you can actually eat.
The foodsharing points are built and maintained by Foodsharing Tartu (FST). FST is a completely volunteer-based movement consisting of around 40 people. Its goal is to prevent edible food from ending up in the landfill by finding it a new consumer.
FST cooperates with several retail chains, which after closing time hand over food to volunteers. This food typically has the same-day "best before" date or has been removed from sale for other reasons but is still perfectly edible. Volunteers deliver this food to the foodsharing points or distribute it at public Honest Foodsharing events, where it goes directly to the consumers.

G = Cross-sum of the number of letters in the word found on the right side of the Aparaaditehas foodsharing point
H = Number of brick posts in the fence near the Veeriku foodsharing point, plus 1
