Geocache Description:

You are looking for signs on trails that have been built using old railroad beds.

This Cache was nominated as one of the
Best of Los Angeles Geocaches for 2003
in the category
Best Locationless / Reverse Cache

Find a sign at a trailhead with the name of the Trail. Or a sign on the trail such as the one I've posted below that tells some of the history of the trail or old Railway. Take a picture of the sign with your GPS in the picture and note the coordinates of the sign. If it is not obvious from the sign that this trail is on an old Railway, please tell us the history or point to a web site. Tell us what you were doing (bicycling, running, walking, skating, rollerblading, hiking, or just plain geocaching).

One log per geocacher.
One log per sign.

Please only log Trailhead signs or Historic signs about the trail. All others will be deleted.

The Coordinates above are for the sign we found while out looking for places to hide a traditional cache. It is also what gave us the idea to do this cache. This sign is located at the Seminole County Softball Complex at the entrance to the Wekiva Trail from that park.

Information on the Wekiva Trail can be found at:
http://www.co.seminole.fl.us/trails/trails_semwekiva.asp

Information on the Orange Belt Railway can be found at:

Have fun... and remember to GeoCache responsibly
