Geocache Description:

1/2 mile hike or so through some dense vegetation and lot's of spiders!(due to the events that occurred to Jkhrd it may be best to do this cache in the cooler months as the bees go dormant, I had no trouble however placing the cache and will try to check on it in the next few weeks.)

Not for the Arachnaphobic! This cache is set on a penninsula that becomes an island during times of heavy rainfall. It takes it's nickname from the unusually large amount of spiders that occupy the island and surrounding area, most if not all are of the non-poisonous smaller variety but you may encounter some larger ones. Best to go during the day or in the cooler months. In the winter the surrounding water freezes allowing for easy access. The cache itself is an ammo box with the original contents of: 2 beanie babies; a parrot and a Blue Jay, one pair of hand-knit socks(womens size 6?), a "Matrix" VHS video cassete, and a compilation CD of what I consider to be one of the greatest bands still putting out music(little known but extemely talented!) Good luck there is alot of deadfall, many places to hide the cache.
