Scrabble Scramble Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

woodysix8: Decided to archive the cache today even if I do end up with all the pieces. I've decided to release the DVD version of this one and focus on Scrabble Scramble Too: The Wrath of Scrappy. Thanks to all that attempted this one and hopefully the next one will be more muggle proof.

Thanks,
Woodysix8

Geocache Description:

Attention: Cache has been updated as of 6 OCT 03 due to a cacher approaching the original site inappropriately. Cache is within St. Mary's county. Hiking boots may be required. Part 1 should be a fairly easy find.

As you can tell by the name this is a board game themed cache. At part 1 (technically a micro) you will be required to unscramble 14 Scrabble tiles to find out what your final coordinates are. Take a pencil or pen and some paper to transcribe the puzzle. The letters spell 2 seperate 7 letter words. The answer to the puzzle is:A successful Parker Brothers game or a possible alternate name for geocaching. The cache (a medium sized ammo can)is stocked with playing cards and magnetic board games such as chess and checkers among other games. Please do your best to keep with the theme. There are two sets of coordinates that fall within the county due to a certain vowel. I assure you it's not on private property or underwater and is definitely not outside St. Mary's county. Have fun and be safe!!! (I must reiterate......this cache is not on private property.) Please be DISCRETE at the first location. I'd prefer to not have to move the cache again. It is now about 5 miles from the original location in an identical hiding spot. I have recieved notice that the first part of the cache is not there....It is there and in good shape. It is a small rubbermaid sandwich container with the clues inside.... Can't help too much more. Email me if you think it is missing before leaving a note. I check on it every other day.
