Geocache Description:

The Minnesota State Parks have not yet come up with a policy on Geocaching and so no caches are allowed in the park at this time. This cache is just outside the park on a public easement across my private land. You will not have to leave the easement to get to the cache.

This is a tupperware container. If you approach it from the state park paths, there are 103 verticle steps from the valley to the top of the hill so that way would be a terrain 3. If it is approached from the public easement, it is a 50 foot level walk from your car. You decide which way you want to come at it. This cache is actually to get you to come out on to the point, especially at sunset for the view. So after you have found the cache, follow the path on down the hill and up again, bearing to the right and you will come to the bench for your spectacular sunsets.
The cache was originally going to be placed on the point but it couldn't be approved by the DNR yet until they get their policy written.

Initially there were 6 holstein cows--two grazers, two walkers and two standers.

UPDATE: During the remodeling of the retaining wall this summer, the original cache disappeared so will be starting over again on 9/18/2005. Same location, now with stickers, erasers, and marking pens. (Target $1 bin)
