Shorts Creek / Fintry Falls Traditional Geocache
Snipejag: Site became too popular, muggles not leaving it alone. Cache participants being spotted too often and the site over exposed, even though the site is 600 meters in the trees.
Had a good 17 year run, since 2003.

Shorts Creek Park. Above Fintry Delta. Start beside the new Westside Fire Dept., small road.
Nice safe hike from Westside Rd. West side of Okanagan Lake. Between Kelowna and Vernon. Shorts Creek has a big wooden bridge up and S.W. from Westside Rd., and there is a waterfall below.... toward the Fintry Delta. Cache is well hidden in an open area above and away from the Falls on the highest plateau. Park beside FireHall Plastic, four locking sides, container holds beanie / bead toys, calculator, novelty pens/knives, medallion, AA batteries, race car, monogrammed golf balls, keychain, etc. and typical amenities for the cache. Should be able to hunt it year round.
