Adjacent to, but not visible from, a footpath.
Due to the area having been clear felled, we have moved the cache to a nearby location which has been felled but has now been replanted and has once again become a pleasant place to visit.
A footpath passes close by the location although it may not be the best approach.
We suggest a bit of reasearch on an OS map and perhaps Google Earth will reveal a better way.
Approach can be muddy so suitable footwear is advised.
The approach is reasonable but not buggy friendly due to stiles.
Located nearby is Ffynnon Cegin Arthur (Arthur's Kitchen Well), a natural spring which produces iron rich water. The ruins of a Victorian attempt to create a mineral water spa now lie on the site. More information about local history and legends can be found at www.cynnal.co.uk/einbro/pen/page12.html
