Geocache Description:

A cache dedicated to all of us who have been injured in the line of "duty". Find this cache and claim your own virtual Purple Heart.

I was out looking for Skyline Snowman when a vicious stick jumped up and attacked me, giving me a gash in my knee. Nevermind the fact that I shouldn't have been wearing shorts - it hurt! When I logged it, the owner, WeBeDnD, took pity on me and fashioned me a Purple Heart for my injury. A few weeks later he was attacked by a swarm of bees at one of my caches and earned his own Purple Heart.

This cache is for all of us who've been injured in the noble cause of finding a cache. The hide is nothing special (it's a black tube-like container); but in your log, please tell a story of a geocaching-related injury deserving of The Purple Heart. The more entertaining the story, the better. And you get bonus points if the injury was a result of your own stupidity or stubbornness.
