Thanks for all our guests that came for the "newbie" training! We had a total of 48 people, including our team guides. ((( Some PHOTOS from the afternoon are below )))

ARCHIVED ON 6/8/05 TO AVOID CONFUSION ... BUT IF YOU ATTENDED YOU MAKE STILL LOG YOUR MULTIPLE "ATTENDED" ENTRIES FOR EACH CACHE YOU FOUND!

2:00pm (Introduction and Group Assignment)
2:10pm – 2:30pm (Assigned Groups leave to find the geocaches)
4:00pm (You should be done by now)

Harrington Beach State Park, “Welcome Center”
Belgium, Wisconsin
Coordinates for “Welcome Center” and Parking: N 43 29.799 W 087 47.678
(I-43 to exit 107, east 1 mile to park entrance)
(Follow the park road all the way east to the “Welcome Center”)

What you should be ready for:
Wear old clothes and shoes/boots that can get dirty! The "round trip" tour takes about 1 to 1.5 hours and is about 1.4 miles total.

The local "Guide" Geocachers will be:
- EnergySaver (Mr.)
- EnergySaver (Mrs.)
- Ecorangers (Mr.)
- Ecorangers (Mrs.)
- Buffalo Soldiers

Cost:
Nothing!
Not even a State Park fee
(It’s the Park’s “Open House” day and you are their guest)

* Note: The “temporary” geocaches are in relatively dry and level areas. However, the “Lake By A Lake” geocache that is always in the park is on very uneven terrain and a very moist area; depending on the ground saturation conditions, we may not be seeking “Lake By A Lake”.
