Geocache Description:

A nice 3 mile loop hike over gently rolling terrain with lots of shade.

When we did the Iseek's Waters Creek Trail cache, we enjoyed the short "interpretive" trail so much we went on and did the longer "hiker's trail". This is a great summer hike due to lots of shade and a good "doggie swimming hole" at the start/end of the loop.

There's excellent trailhead parking at 42.23.415, 123.33.275. Head down the trail, following the direction of the "trail" signs (duh). Eventually, the interpretive trail heads right and the hiker's trail heads left. The 3 mile loop is easy walking. Following the trail signs will send you around the loop in a clockwise direction.

The sat reception is really spotty. The cache is located about 3/4 of the way around the loop, just one short step off the trail to the right (if going clockwise). No need to go through any brush or poison oak! We had fair reception at the cache site but you may need the clue to zero in.

The only downside to this hike are the mosquitos. We recommend you either take repellent or a bag of blood to transfuse yourself partway through the hike.
