This is a fairly short and not steep walk up and around to the rock in and above Cefalu.
On the rock you find ruins of the old defensewalls and the castle and even an old templeruin. It all dates back for almost 2000 years. The wall is partly restorated and from it their are great panoramic views not only over Cefalu but also the coastline, harbour, islands and the mountains !!
Please be smart and take the whole tour up and around the rock/mountain. Not just a shortcut following your gpsr arrow. You'd miss a great deal of the panoramic views, and the historical and cultural experience !
