Located in a very busy spot during the summertime. Please watch for
vehicle traffic and keep an eye on children and pets. Primitive
restroom and ample parking. Bicycle and (probably) wheelchair
friendly. Boat accessible. Camping available. New $2 day-use fee
(drag!). Watch for blackberry brambles and poison oak. Decent
bird-watching.
Bring your boat and fishing pole! This is a very popular boat
launch in the summertime. Many folks who want to catch the waves
downriver at Galice Chutes launch from here. Personally, Galice
Chutes has beat up on me enough for me to stop paddling through
there. But...this spot still is a nice swimming hole.
You are hunting for a plastic tub that has a log book, pen, and
trading items. Enjoy!
