Geocache Description:

A cache that shows you the beautiful view of Héreg in the Gerecse hills.

I'd like to invite You to a little walking to the heart of Gerecse hills. Where the easy-walking tourist routes, the bautiful valleys, hills, rocks makes you forget the those nasty working days. If you pay attention and walk carefully, it's not hard to meet those many animals who live here. (deers, wildpigs, rabbits, etc.) We start our tours usually from this point, however my grape-field is quite close to here. From here you can have a beautiful view to Tarján, Héreg and the hillsides of Gerecse.

I recommend two starting point:

If you would like to get up there quickly then use this point and leave your car here: N 47° 38,042' E 018° 33,055' It takes about 20minutes from here.

The other option is a bit longer, but even more beautiful. You should get off from the bus or leave the car here: N 47° 39,156' E 018° 36,113' This starting point is in Bajna village, close to the Earl Sándor Móricz' castle. Walk trough the old park.
