The third-ever Duluth geocaching get-together for Duluth and the
surrounding areas (and whomever else wants to attend) is April 7,
2006 (Friday).
There is no real agenda for the get-together - just a time to enjoy
a meal together and meet some fellow geocachers.
Last year's event was held at the Maya Family Restaurant - the year
before that we were in West Duluth. This year we'll be at WITC in
Superior. We're meeting at 6pm until around 8pm (or whenever). The
coordinates above will lead you to the entrance. There will be
signs that guide you to the room we're in.
The food for the event will cost $6.50/person. Your $6.50 will get
you two very large slices of pizza and a 16oz bottle of pop. If you
don't want to eat then you don't have to pay - the event is free to
attend. We'll be ordering the food based on the people in
attendance shortly after 6pm so please be on time.
Please post a note on this page if you plan on attending so that we
have an idea how many are attending.
Driving directions:
Driving Directions from Duluth:
Drive over either of the bridges,
Turn left or East on Belknap Street,
Follow Belknap pasted the UW-Superior football field,
Turn right or South on Mortereli Drive,
Turn right or West into the WITC conference center parking lot,
Look for the signs!
Driving from the East:
Follow US Hwy 2 into Superior
Hwy 2 becomes Belknap Street,
Follow Belknap to the UW-Superior football field,
Turn left or South on Mortereli Drive,
Turn right or West into the WITC conference center parking lot,
Look for the signs!
