Geocache Description:

----Light Speed!

First of all use this coord checker to make sure you determined the coordinates.

Ever wonder just how fast the speed of light is? In imperial units, it’s around 186,282.397 miles per second, or about 670 million miles per hour, give or take a few hundred thousand! Not too shabby I’d say. Driving that fast, you would circle the 24,902 mile equatorial circumference of the globe in a measly 0.13 seconds and go through a set of 60,000 mile warrantee tires in about a third of a second! Oh yeah. No need to consider that because you would burn up instantly due to air friction anyway. It’s a wonder how Santa can deliver all those presents in a single night without going down in flames.

I figured out once that if a person left the earth at the speed of light, looking back after only one second, the earth would appear as large as a quarter held at 22 inches; about an arm’s length for me. Now that’s crank’n!! Hold a quarter and with a swoosh sound (required) move to 22 inches while you say one one thousand one and see how fast that is for yourself. It’s impressive.

Oh, I almost forgot, the Morse code below is your only hint! [New as of 7/11/10. Here's another hint. A/B = C It's as simple as that.] If I were you I would cut and paste all that code then locate an online conversion for Morse code to translate all that stuff.

Remember that the posted coordinate of a mystery or puzzle cache is supposed to be within a mile of the real cache position. Any further instructions will be available in the first log I post for this cache. Good luck!

The animated graphic below depicts how fast a beam of light would reach the moon after being shot from the earth. We're talking about 1.2 seconds!
