Geocache Description:

Cache is located along the trail in the woods behind Bonduel Elementary School. A family-friendly cache with an easy hike, but more challenging find.

The BMW cache is a product of the Bonduel, Menominee-Indian, and Wittenberg-Birnamwood school districts who have collaborated to form the BMW Consortium. Together, these school districts provide a variety of opportunities and experiences for technology supported instruction for their teachers. One of the culminating activities is a Technology Academy held in June. In the summer of 2006, the participants created travel bugs and were all introduced to the sport of geocaching.

Permission to place this cache on school property was granted from Dr. Peter Behnke, Superintendent of Bonduel School District. Any questions regarding the cache should be directed to Ms. Connie Rutledge, Technology Director and Principal of Bonduel Middle School.

Because this cache is placed on school property, for safety purposes, if you plan to hunt the cache during school hours, please stop in the office of Bonduel Elementary School to let them know you are a geocacher looking for the BMW Cache. Be sure to enter the trail behind the elementary school. Entering anywhere else would be trespassing on private property. Coordinates for the entrance to the trail are:

The cache is a plastic peanut butter container, and contains a log book, many travel bugs, and a first-to-find prize!

If you are searching for this cache during the 2nd or 3rd week in June, be sure to stop by Bonduel Middle School (just across the street) to see if the Technology Academy is in session - we'd love to have visitors letting us know they've found the BMW cache (there may even be a free lunch in it for you!)
