I'm a big fan of SciFi. Here are a few of my favorites:

Vintage Muppets: Do you remember the Muppets Skits that lend their name to this trackable? I adore The Muppet Show!
TV/Movie: I find Joss Whedon's Firefly / Serenity space Western universe is really compelling and rich.
Print: Vernor Vinge for Fire Upon the Deep and Deepness in the Sky.
Game: Angry Birds in Space, of course!! (Also, an awesome cooperative board game called Space Alert)
