Current Goal

This bug just wants to go around the world (in an elliptical orbit?). The bug is being released to mark the demotion of Pluto from one of the nine Planets, to a "Dwarf Planet"... whatever that means. How would you like to have a job where the most important thing you were going to do today was vote on whether or not Pluto was a Planet?

About This Item

ID Photo for Pluto

This bug is really Walt Disney's "Pluto"; the dog who starred in many of the "Mickey Mouse Club" era Disney cartoons. I think that he may have been the only animal featured who didn't talk. This little guy just wants to move and see a bunch of caches and meet a bunch of cachers.

Retrieve It from a Cache 6/5/2016 Ron & Lois retrieved it from June View California   Visit Log

Received notification that the June View Cache was archived. This is the last place Pluto was seen, but the cacher who placed him said the cache was "tubular", and the cache description said it was a 6" square Tupperware. We suspect that Pluto was placed into a container that was not the correct one, and that he is still there, since everyone since seemed to be finding a Tupperware but no Pluto. Hopefully he will be found, and put back into circulation someday, but for now, he is going into one of our archived caches to remove him from the archived cache.

Confirming that this one is in the TB rest stop. Also would like to confirm that regardless of what the "scientists" say, Pluto still is a planet.
