Left this geocache in a location just a couple of miles from the Keephills power plant. This location is a historical landmark of a local school in the area - likely attended by families who had connections to the plant when it was first built. If you look just west of this picture you could just make out the tips of the smoke stacks of the power plant. Felt like this was a good place for the next person to come and carry this TB further! ❤️

Wandered around this old mining area that has now become a memorial of sorts for geocachers in the area. Coal was mined here for the power plants in this area, but they are no longer active and this area has become a quiet sanctuary of green hills and fields.
