Will be taking this one home to Clark County in southwest Washington state. The county was named after half of the Lewis & Clark team, which came through this area some 200 years ago. I'll let you determine which of the two the county was named after.
Clark County is in the foothills of the Cascade Mountain range, and very close to Mt. St. Helens. From the county, you can see at least 4 potentially active volcanoes. Clark County contains old growth forests, some great salmon and steelhead rivers & streams, and lots of wetlands. It's a really great place to live for outdoors people. The southern border of Clark County (and Washington State for that matter) is the Columbia River.
I will drop this ug minto a great Clark County cache.
