Interesting name, Sanctuary River, so I looked it up. It's 39 miles from the McKinley Chalet Resort in Denali National Park. The river is Class V+ for the 7.2-mile run from the Denali Road to Teklanika River. Great views of the Alaska Range. Summer highs in the 70's, winter highs around 0.
