The last cache in the Powell Buttes series. This cache is on BLM land at an elevation of 5045'.
The last cache of this series on Powell Buttes. It requires a long hike with some serious uphill sections. The views at the end are well worth the effort for those willing to take the challenge. Take plenty of water on hot days, it will probably take most cachers 3-4 hours to complete the four cache series, longer if you plan a lunch stop at the top. On a clear day you can see Mt. Adams to the north. As you near the top the fence line to the east separates private property from the BLM you on are. The area with the towers and electronic equipment is on private land and you do not need to cross this fence to find this cache.
