This bug would like to visit all of the towns / states where the original band toured during their time as a travelling band...now over 30 years ago. To find out where they travelled and which direction to move them next, visit: www.bitsnpieces-showband.com, and learn more about Kalamazoo's Premier Showband (1978 to 1982).
In her younger years, Lois was part of a very popular local band (as a technician). When they decided to take their act on the road, she travelled with them for a couple of years. They travelled as far South as Louisiana, and as far West and North as North Dakota, nearly to the Montana State Line.
They recently gathered back in Kalamazoo for a 30 year reunion, and Ron made some buttons to commemorate that occasion. We decided that a good way to honor the band, their accomplishments and the magic that was created when they got back together for a short visit was to take some of the buttons (just slightly modified) and put them together as a travel bug, and let them go...on the road again.
Bits n Pieces - On the Road Again is a collection of 5 of those buttons that show the band in 3 of the different configurations over the years that they were together, their show sign, and one of the ads for an early appearance at their "home" club. Please keep this moving, and if it crosses paths with any of their fans, please let us know that you saw them "Way back when, and where you saw them perform". Looks like you guys have been down south yet to celebrate the places Bits-n-Pieces played down there. So I'll move this bug a little farther South in an effort to get you closer to Mississippi, Missouri, Louisiana & FLorida - based on the website it sounds like you've got a lot of stories from down there!

This one is pretty close to the house. Swapped it for another travel bug.
Too bad I did not find this last week, as I was just in Missouri and Iowa for Thanksgiving. I moved several bugs from here to there and vice versa. Will not go back that way in the near future, so I will just move it along. In NJ next week, but it looks like the band never played there.
