UK Geocachers Geocoin

Best of British Britannia Geocoin. The long awaited 2007 Best of British geocoin is now here. It is a great improvment on last years coin and is excellent quality. The coin has two metal finishes on it. The base metal in Antique Gold and Britannia is sculpted in 3D and plated in Nickel to give her an amazing look. Both the front and back of the coins are epoxy coated to ensure that they stay in great shape for a long time if you release them into the wild. Britannia was chosen as this years icon for the coin as she is probably one of the most well known British figures. The rear of the coin has some information about the British Empire in its hey day and Lord Kitcheners famous quote. The reverse of the coin has the following message written around the edge: REBUILDING THE EMPIRE ONE CACHE AT A TIME Comes complete with a black epoxy coated 4.5 Inch chain set to enable you to attach the coin to something else for release into the wild. The coin also has a pre-drilled hole so that you can attach the coin to a Travel Bug Passport, Geocoin Assistant or even another object so that you can use it like an extremely posh Travel Bug. It is trackable with its own icon as well.

Something strange is going on with this geocache chapel bug. If you are the owner, maybe you could figure it out. The code is different than what it was logged under in the geocache someone took the coin, and they have a picture of the coin which has the correct tracking number and when I type that in it lets me try to retrieve, but the coin is gone with the picture has the coin but hasn’t logged it as retrieved so hopefully it all gets straightened out

Oh I see you have to have the geocache number to grab it so maybe somebody took the coin and just hasn’t put the number in yet hopefully

UK Geocashers Geocoin is not in this geocache. I saw that someone stated they dropped it off here, and it is listed, but it was not there and also when I clicked on it, all I can do is write a note it doesn’t have the grab capability. I hope your cool Geocoin is found and continues to travel.
