Well, that did not last for very long 😟 This was dropped into a cache in Belgium just before Christmas, 2020. That cache had a number of Finds, but only one mention of a traveler after that (and we can't tell if it was a retrieval or a drop-off), and then the cache was muggled a few months later, and archived. Maybe Yeti was still in that cache, or maybe someone picked it up and did not realize what it is or how to log it. Like that has never happened before 👎
So, we are retrieving this for burial (again!) in an archived cache of ours, and hope that it turns up, some day. And here's the obligatory "rant" for situations like this...
WE HOPE THAT SOMEONE IS JUST BEING VERY SLOW TO LOG THIS, OR THAT THEY FORGOT ABOUT IT, OR MAYBE DIDN'T REALIZE WHAT IT REALLY WAS; IF THIS IS THE CASE, PLEASE RETRIEVE IT, AND THEN DROP IT INTO ANOTHER CACHE AT YOUR EARLIEST CONVENIENCE. THANK YOU!
HOWEVER...
IF THIS WAS TAKEN WITH NO INTENTION OF MOVING IT ALONG, WHOEVER TOOK IT IS A THIEF!! WE OWN THIS GEOCOIN; WE SENT IT OUT INTO THE WORLD FOR OTHER PEOPLE TO ENJOY AND TO MOVE ALONG. IT CANNOT BE SOLD OR ADOPTED; IT CAN'T EVEN BE SHOWN TO OTHERS WITHOUT RISKING THEM FINDING OUT THAT THIS WAS STOLEN. THE SOLUTION, OF COURSE, IS TO GET A CONSCIENCE AND DROP THIS INTO A CACHE SOON.
IF YOU SEE THIS GEOCOIN IN THE COLLECTION OF A CACHER OTHER THAN US, BE AWARE THAT IT IS STOLEN PROPERTY.
