Current Goal

Once arrived in the USA, please attach me to a local stuffed toy and send me on my way around the world. My goal is to reach as many states in each country and then proceed around the world. I hope that in 6 years time I might make my way back to Australia to my originated state of Queensland (QLD) in August 2015.

I got this Travel Bug (AP6CMC) from MMMD3 at a family gathering in Oregon. He had found it in a cave on the Big Island of Hawaii.

To help the Travel Bug along on its journey around the world, I took it home with me to Long Island, New York, so the TB hopped the continent. Since then, I have been trying to find a suitable cache to leave it in, but.nearly all the caches in my area are small to nano. So I've been holding on to the Bug until I found an appropriate cache for it.

The other day I saw a listing for a cache whose container is an ammo box, and today my wife and I found it, and placed the Travel Bug in it. The cache number is GCYX3J, the name is PPS- Sound View.

We left the TB with its accompanying little stuffed koala in a ziplock bag with Mortified's original information sheet and a note from me urging the finder to help the Travel Bug along on the next leg of its journey around the world.

Found it in the cave cache near Waikoloa. Fun hike to get it in, hope your not scarred of the dark! This is our first travel bug and will take it to California next.
