Current Goal

This travel bug has a mission to travel from as many animal related parks as it possibly can all around the world. We live in Christchurch New Zealand, and we took it to South Africa to start its travels in August 2009. We look forward to seeing our little giraffe travel safely!

About This Item

Giraffe

A beautiful little soft toy type giraffe with a zipper on his back. Approximately 9cm long.
Cara (our daughter) is currently 2 years old, and Giraffe's are her favourite animals (hence the name!)

  • Cara's giraffe in Kiel I found Cara's giraffe waiting for the train to take it to animal parks...
  • Cara's giraffe in Strasbourg ... so I brought it to Strasbourg, where it could see the animals at the Orangerie zoo. Black storks live in a cage there, but there are a lot of white storks in the park, wandering amongst the visitors and enjoying the good french food.
The Orangerie caches were all Micros, therefore the giraffe is now on a Rhine Island waiting for new adventures.

I have seen the little Giraffe in Freiburg where it travelled with kunstschatz before heading to France.
