Picked up Hank The Hound this afternoon and have noted his desire to travel the world. We are in Florida on holiday and will be returning home on 14 November. Hank will travel with us and will log a few miles into the bargain along with a few friends that we have picked up whilst in the Sunshine State. Watch this space in 10 days time.
Sadly he is showing signs of injury and appears to have been repaired at least once. (Front left leg and rear left leg) but both are in the resealable bag that he is travelling in. When we get home I will repair him before placing him in safe TB hotel where he will be picked up and moved on.
As always I am interested in where these TBs and attachments have come from and I see that Hank started off his travels at the Boneyard in Tucson, somewhere I have always wanted to visit as I am a 'spotter', otherwise known as an aviation enthusiast. However even more of a coincidence is that Mrs GeoDuffs and I are in Florida visiting our second son who works in WDW and tomorrow we will be joined by our first son who has been on a round-the world trip between finishing university in July and joining the Army in January 2011. We are due to meet him tomorrow when he flies into Orlando to join us (and his little brother) for a week before he flies home with us. We have not seen him since August and since he left home he has been to Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand, Los Angeles, San Diego, Tuscon, The Boneyard!!!!! and yesterday made it to Phoenix. When he was planning the trip I mentioned how I had a very big interest in seeing the Boneyard and he thought that he would visit there as he was going to be in the area (LAX!).
Anyway, enough of my ramblings, must have another can of Bud.
Rest assured that Hank will soon be on the move and once his legs are repaired will be back in circulation again.
