Current Goal

Hello all! I am Lady Liberty. I am a Hitchhiker TB. This means I like to collect items from cache to cache. I am the idea and proto-type of a 6 year old's imagination. He thought it would be cool for me to travel to all 50 states and collect a freebie keychain from each state. Well 49 states now! :) Once I am full of the keychains, it would be super cool if I could make it back to the 6 year old dreamer in Jacksonville, NC. But until I am all filled up, an occassional picture on my progress would be super cool too!

Thanks so much for helping me and my 6 year old!

Lady Liberty

About This Item

I am a rubber mini statue of liberty, teal in color. I am starting off with a hot pink Morton's Body Shop keychain, which has no significance at all except it was hot pink and from NC. :)

This little gem is still residing in VB and has found its way into nature along an awesome trail in a beautiful Virginia Beach park. Though this destination did not come without darker days for this poor bug.
We had big plans for this little traveler to see our Nations Capital several years ago. However prior to our trip the bug was set aside from our cache kit (didnt plan to take the whole kit) to make sure it went with us. Unfortunately the poor gal was stashed a little too well! Our new friend never made it to DC because it was forgotten where it had been placed at home.

Recently this little lady found the light of day again while cleaning out a drawer. Once we realized we still had it, we knew we had to get it into circulation once again!
Lady liberty has been liberated once again!

We would like to offer our sincere apologies to CAROLLSMRB and family.
We also apologize for never correctly logging the fact that we had it. I have recently done so.

Liberated Lady Liberty minutes after the cache was released. I lived on Governor's Island, in New York harbor, with a window that overlooked the Statue of Liberty. Ended up climbing the Statue dozens of times (every time family visited, and class trips... there are 354 steps to the crown😟. Actually, I enjoyed every climb. Glad to help Lady Liberty on her journey.
