4,565 days. That's how long this trackable has been in my inventory. I remember after I finished my then sophomore year of college j couldn't find the little fishing bobble, and felt so guilty that I was not one of those cachers who took Trackables and hired them forever. Many many years have passed and shortly after I got back into geocaching my parents found a box from college that had a bunch of things I long thought lost, and what do I see but the trackables I assumed would never see the light of day.

I didn't just want to dump it in any old cache, so I decided to hold onto it just a little longer, until I could find a fitting place to leave it. In the meanwhile is bring it with me, dropping in on interesting places where I travel.

After a few false hopes on my travels (and a rain storm shortening the cruise excursion I was currently on), I'm finally saying goodbye to this trackable here. Like Rose throwing the necklace into the ocean to let go, I've now (metaphorically) let go of this trackable into the ocean. Thank you for sticking with me little bobble, I hope you continue to see more sights, and I'm sorry it took so long to finally say goodbye.

How fitting, I'm here to bring a trackable to the end of its journey with me, and here I find another one looking to leave on a journey! Fortunately this one won't take as long for it to leave me 😂

I had originally wanted to place this here or in a cache on the Bahamas, but my excursions limited what caches I had access too. It was still well worth the travel
