TSA bug wants to travel the world and have his picture taken in settings that represent technology themes, such as transportation, graphic design, engineering challenges, robotics, medical technology, computer science, Agriculture and Biotechnology , inventions, and the like. Creative stretching is encouraged.
150,000 middle and high school students nationwide aspire to be future engineers, scientists and technologists through the Technology Student Association. The Technology Student Association fosters personal growth, leadership, and opportunities in technology, innovation, design, and engineering. Members apply and integrate science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) concepts through co-curricular activities, competitive events and related programs. TSA fills an important role in secondary education for students who are fascinated with technology, engineering, and hands-on scientific learning. This Travel Bug is placed in honor of TSA. A member of the e-bird67 family team is the regional TSA coordinator for Chapel Hill/Carrboro City Schools. Most of all, we wish to encourage young students to consider enrolling in a technology class in middle or high school. It’s a great way to prepare for a future of innovation.
