Keltský kříž je rovnoramenný kříž, jehož střed obepíná kruh. Pokud se nad keltským křížem zamyslíme abstraktněji, pak jeho kruh lze chápat jako symbol spojení materiální (proto sběr penízků) a spirituální říše. Kříž pak v tomto kontextu představuje nejvyšší božskou moc. V každém směru ramen, která lze vlastně prodloužit až do nekonečna, lze vidět symboliku věčného života.
