Time to let the coin go on! Today, before my return flight to Sao Paulo (almost 7 hours delayed), used the spare time to go back and visit the cache hidden in Santiago´s Intl airport, from where the coin will most surely have a good chance of catching a flight to a new country. With this coin, we´ve visited the countryside of Sao Paulo state (Brazil), Paraguay, Argentina and Chile. And now off to new destinations! Boa viagem!!

As promised, the coin today went all the way up the Cordillera de los Andes, in Chile, until Valle Nevado, a ski resort at the altitude of 3000mts a.s.l. Unfortunately, I couldn´t find the caches I had planned for this day, mainly due to terrain dificulty, but registered the miles traveled by the coin anyway. I´m attaching a picture of the coin up in Valle Nevado. Snow is already coming down the Andes as winter approaches. In a few weeks more, everything there is going to be white! The coin has seen some condor birds today too! Just take a look at the my log in 'Quebrada en la 18' (GCM3TG) to see them!

As promised, I used a free weekend I had after a full week of work in Santiago to rent a car and tatke the coin to travel a bit around Chile. Today, we´ve been visiting the Chilean coast between Valparaiso and the Rio Aconcagua, already in the Concon city area. We did visit the 'La Bandera' cache (GC267NJ) in the Viña del Mar region, with a really nice view of the beach. Tomorrow, we´re expected to go visiting some caches in the area of Cajon del Maipo, Farellones and, if there´s enough time left, some caches in the Cerro San Cristobal area, in Santiago. So, in a few words, tomorrow the Coin is going to climb the Cordillera de los Andes! I´m attaching a picture of the coin´s visit to Viña del Mar

Used a business day-trip to Buenos Aires to visit the 'Buenos Aires Monumental Cache' with the Traditional Cache Geocoin. Our 1st cache in Argentina, both mine and the coin´s! I´m already back to Sao Paulo with the coin - we´re expected to go to Chile next week. Let´s just hope the trip to Chile is confirmed, otherwise I´m gonna think about a nice cache here in Sao Paulo where to hide the coin and let another geocacher make it travel round the globe!

Today, we took the geocoin to know the country-side of Sao Paulo state! We (me, my wife, my son and the coin) went to the TAM aeronautical museum near Sao Carlos city and in the way we stopped a while to visit the Serra Azul cache (GC2CJCJ). Besides, there was a cache supposed to be near the museum, but it resulted in a DNF, so I´ve had only the first cache logged into this coin´s history. During this trip, the coin saw a lot of new landscapes and many sugar cane farms.

Retrieved this geocoin from 'O Viajor' (GC20RHN), during some spare time before a flight to Asunción (Paraguay), in exchange of a 'Figas' wooden mini-sculpture (not-trackable)
Consequently, this geocoin has already went to Paraguay with me, and the I took it back with me to Brazil. Unfortunately, there aren´t geocaches close enough to Asunción for a 1-day business trip and therefore I was not able to register it and log the miles flown, so I´m attaching a photo of the coin in front of the airport in Asunción, in order to demonstrate the coin´s presence in Paraguay, as part of her mission! I do travel a lot to other countries in Latin America, so I´ll probably take the coin to one of these countries and help it fulfill its mission. Meanwhile, I´ll take the coin to visit some caches here in Sao Paulo during the next weeks. TFTH!
