Current Goal

The Circum-48 Logbook is a cache - hopping logbook whose goal is to circumnavigate the 48 contiguous states in a counterclockwise direction. Since it will start in Portland, Oregon it will need to travel south through Oregon and California, then east through Arizona and New Mexico, etc., until it makes it's way back to Vancouver, Washington. More than one stop in each state is certainly acceptable, though not mandatory. Please add to the log and include favorite quotes or whatever tickles your fancy. When it gets home I'll scan the whole thing and put it up on the web for everyone to see.

Credit for this idea goes to Fractal and his Coast to Coast to Coast Logbook. This was launched last year from the most awesome cache I ever did - the "Contact" cache, which I hope is soon to find a new location and be reactivated.

Over 100 travelers at GEO-meet and no one going to Arizona. My March trip to Tucson for Road Rally fell through. We will continue to circumnavigate New England - New Hampshire, Maine and Vermont looking for a ride back on track.
