Was unable to summit with the coin, left it in a cache that has a pretty awesome view of the mountain on a clear day.

This coin is currently in Tacoma, Wa... a little closer to Mt. Rainier than it was. Tried to drop it off in a cache today, but none were large enough to hold it, and other larger caches that would be easy for me to get to are too heavily traveled by muggles to risk such a nice coin. Will continue to look for good cache drop.

I am not able to get this coin to the summit of "THE" mountain. The best I can do is submit a photo I've taken of the coin with a replica of the USGS Bench Mark that is located on the summit. Hope you like. :)

Found this coin at Discovery Bay TB Hotel. Having just spent a week hiking some incredible trails at Mt. Rainier, and watching a team summit and make their descent, this coin caught my eye. Won't be able to take it to the summit, but I will get it a bit closer to the mountain.
