Current Goal

We would like this coin to travel around the world at least once, as the Western Canadian prairie winds blow, always blowing the coin in an easterly direction, and finally returning home to GC2V3RA Big Fans of Magrath

This is our families very first geocoin, please keep the coin moving, and return it to our family safe and sound.  We will use this opportunity to study the different places it travels to on its journey.

About This Item

One side is a picture of a modern day windmill in the middle of a farmers field of hay bales, with a backdrop of a ridge.  This is the same sight we see,  just outside or our town of 2000 people; farmers fields, windmills, and mountains.

The other side of the coin is an old fashioned windmill sometimes still seen in old farmstead.  Deer are often spotted all over the prairie, and is common sight in and around town.  The mountains in the background are the Canadian Rocky Mountains that are only a hour and a bit drive away from our home.

    I picked this coin up with my mom from a sweet little cache set in a view similar to what is on the coin. I hope that this coin gets to see the world and that people post the pictures on here as it travels.
    All I ever get to see most of the time is what is on that coin. It would be nice to see the parts of the world the coin travels too!
