My son Nick, the reluctant cacher, earned this coin for me on Fathers' Day 2011 as a gift. He went all by himself and found ten out of the twelve caches and brought me this coin. I am sending it out now so as to share a little bit of my joy in being a father with all the other dads out there. If you feel so inclined, share an anecdote in your log about why you are proud of your child(ren).
A beautiful coin with the Columbia River on the front and a local landmark elephant slide on the back. The elephant was recovered from storage and reinstalled in Howard Amon Park when the locals' sentimentality called for him to be once again available after many folks recalled all the good memories attached to the playground pachyderm. May we stay forever young!

Found this out hiking with the kids in the hills behind Carlmont High School. We will find a fun and interesting place to leave it in the next week or so. TFTTB.

I dropped Richland off at a beautiful view in the hills overlooking Dublin, CA. I'm proud of my kids because they turned out great. They're both still working their ways through college. They don't care for caching that much, but they sometimes come with me when they can't avoid it -- my youngest was with me when we visited Disneyland and picked this up -- but on Fathers Day they always indulge me by going out as a family for a hike to track down a few caches.

I found this coin here in LA across the street from Disneyland. Since it was never logged in by the previous holder or his American friend, I'm having it visit before I log the drop I made to the north.

I found this in California across the street from Disneyland in Snow White Guard and I took it, but I'm going to delay logging the grab for a few days. Going to Disneyland can be quite distracting!

I have sent this with a friend to the USA. I and he really hope he gets a chance to go Geocaching and drop it somewhere. Otherwise just know it has been there and back. :-)
