This coin has two little missions to accomplish before it makes its return journey home.
1)Travel around Louisiana. Post photos! :)
2) My husband would like a photo of the coin inside the Nassau Coliseum. (He's a NY Islanders fan) - bonus points if you can get a player from the team to hold the coin!
This coin was a reward in a
geocache scavenger hunt organized by the
Maritime Geocaching Association and the
City of Moncton.
Moncton is a Canadian city located in
Westmorland County, New Brunswick. The city is situated in southeastern New Brunswick, within the
Petitcodiac River Valley, and lies at the geographic centre of the Maritime Provinces. The community has gained the nickname "Hub City" because of its central location and also because Moncton has historically been the railway and land transportation hub for the Maritime Provinces.
I was born in Moncton and moved away to Calgary in 2006. I return to visit about twice a year. Prior to my June 2011 vacation, Dragoon (whom I met in college) told me about this special initiative. I made sure to make getting this special geocoin a priority. Not only was it my first geocoin, it was also logged as my 50th found cache! This coin will also be the first bug that I release into the wild.
