TY's Sand Probe I.2: White Sands, New Mexico, USA

The Gypsum Sand Mission:

• From cache to cache, take the Travel Bug to the White Sands National Monument, New Mexico, U.S.A. There are no physical geocaches there, but some good waypoints seem to be
  • GCGCWD  -  N 32° 47.650 W 106° 14.002
  • GC24N2W  -  N 32° 49.967 W 106° 18.209
  • There is some sort of resting or camping place on Loop Drive at N 32° 48.871 W 106° 15.680
• Once there, open the container, take out the slip saying "Take me home to Bielefeld!" and attach it to the TB's chain.
• Fill the container with some of the white gypsum sand this desert is famous for.
• Please write in your log the coordinates the sand was from.
• Let the sand-filled TB travel back home to Bielefeld in Germany.

Die Gips-Sand-Mission:

• Bringe den Travel Bug von Cache zu Cache bis zum White Sands National Monument, New Mexico, U.S.A. Es gibt dort keine Caches mit Dosen, aber gute Wegpunkte sind wohl:
  • GCGCWD  -  N 32° 47.650 W 106° 14.002
  • GC24N2W  -  N 32° 49.967 W 106° 18.209
  • Eine Art Park- und Rastplatz liegt am Loop Drive bei N 32° 48.871 W 106° 15.680
• Öffne dort den PETling, nimm das Schildchen "Take me home to Bielefeld!" heraus und hänge es an die Kette des TB.
• Fülle den PETling mit dem berühmten weißen Gips-Sand.
• Schreibe bitte in deinen Logeintrag, wo genau der Sand her ist.
• Lass den TB mit dem Sand zurück nach Hause reisen, nach Bielefeld in Deutschland.

Dieser Travel Bug soll mir Sandproben aus aller Welt bringen. Er besteht aus einem grünen PET-Flaschen-Rohling ("PETling") mit TB-Anhänger und kurzer Missionsbeschreibung.
Der Name des TBs hat eine passende Doppelbedeutung:
-- deutsch Probe = englisch sample -- englisch probe = deutsch Sonde
Dies ist seine zweite Mission; die erst führte nach Kopenhagen und zurück.

This Travel Bug is to fetch me sand samples from all over the world. It is a green PET bottle preform with a TB pendant and its mission attached.
The TB's name has a fitting double meaning:
-- German Probe = English sample -- English probe = German Sonde
This is its second mission, the first one's goal was Copenhagen / Denmark.
