This traveler is part of a 4-puppy race from June 17, 2016, through the Fourth of July 2017. The goal is to see which of the puppies travels the most miles.
There are four contestants in this race -- Presley's Puppy (TB55ZEM), Connelly's Canine (TB55ZEW), Hollie's Hound (TB55ZEV) and Mia's Mutt (TB55ZEC). Each is named for one of my granddaughters, ages 5, 3, 20 months and 4 months (at the time of the start of the race). The goal is to see which travels the farthest between June 17, 2016, and July 4, 2017 -- a span of just over a year. (Note: Since Presley's Puppy came along first, purely by chance, it's got a head start of 4,926 miles on its log sheet. Only mileage compiled AFTER June 17, 2016, counts for this race.)
Once the race is over, I would love it if somehow these trackables return to SW Oklahoma. If I get that lucky, I'll retrieve it and give it to the appropriate granddaughter.
