The Ends of the Earth is a figurative expression based on the geographical reality of the most distant parts of the Earth from whatever point may be treated as central. In the Bible, Job stated that God 'looks to the ends of the earth and sees everything under the heavens'.The Queen of Sheba was said to have travelled from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon. In music, the Ends of the Earth is the name of a song (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RTJ9NmA2yjI) by the retro-synth band Hot Chip.
