I got this Ugly Sweater travel tag at the AV Geocachers 2016 Christmas party. Since it is an Ugly Sweater I thought it was appropriate to give it the mission to collect ugly yarn. So... if you pick up this Ugly Sweater what you need to do is find a foot or two of string, twine, or yarn and tie it onto the end of the yarn that makes up the yarn ball, the more colorful or tacky the better. When you have added a little color to the yarn ball tuck the end through the ball so it doesn't become unravelled, but leave enough hanging out so the next geocacher can tie onto the end. Every once in a while it would be cool to see how big the yarn ball has gotten, so post pictures! I am starting the ball with Christmas colored varigated yarn. It might not be this color when you find it.
It should always look like an Ugly Sweater tag attached to a yarn ball. The only mission is to travel around and collect yarn. If the yarn ball gets too big to fit into caches easily, email me so I can change the mission for it to head for home. Happy geocaching!
