TBPD: Barbrady Unit 3

To get geocachers everywhere to take the Barbrady Pledge. Don't take this bug if you won't take the pledge.

We've recruited South Park's finest for the Travel Bug Police Department (a.k.a., "Team Barbrady"). Stay on the right side of the TBPD and take the Barbrady Pledge:

I pledge –

1. To promptly log all travel bugs out of the caches I take them from.* I understand that this must be done on the bug's webpage. I also understand that I'll need the tracking number on the bug tag to do this.

2. To move all travel bugs I take to new caches within a reasonable period of time. I understand that anything over six weeks isn't "reasonable" without permission of the owner.

3. To promptly log all travel bugs into the caches I place them in. I understand this should be done as part of logging the cache online, through the "Dropped off a traveller?" option I'll be given at the bottom of the cache-log webpage. I also understand I should hold on to the tracking number, in case somebody grabs the bug before I have a chance to log it in.

4. To back-date all log entries to the correct date, whenever entering a pick-up or drop-off on a later date.

5. To read and comprehend the travel bug instructions given on the geocaching.com website.

* Anyone who has bushwacked through hell in pursuit of a coveted bug, only to find it's been gone for weeks, should particularly appreciate this part of the pledge.
