Uncle Buddy Memorial Travel Bug

I’m starting this travel bug in memory of my Uncle Buddy, AlToney.  My Uncle and I started geocaching together in 2005 and continued to do so until his passing in January 2021.  We had so many great adventures together over the years.

Uncle Buddy loved the water.  He grew up on rivers, retired at Smith Mountain Lake in Virginia and loved to take cruises.

In honor of my Uncle Buddy, I would like to see this travel bug travel to as many different bodies of water as it can.  I would love it if you would share pictures of the travel bug by as many rivers, lakes and oceans as possible.

Dropped the trackable by a pond. I want to share with wvu95 a memorable moment I had today visiting the land and a pond of my childhood which is near this cache. Here is a photo of me out on a boat onthe pond where it is today located in large area of conservation land.

I picked up this trackable at a Geocache Event which happens to be in conservation area with a pretty pond. There were a few people out on boats and swans in the distance. I will move the trackable along to another place near water.

Discovered at the Colt State Park End of Summer event in Bristol, RI. The park is located along the beautiful bay so between that and the rain today, there was plenty of water.
