Goodbye Greece and back, it’s time to let you go. And back in Hannover for the Mega - 3 Könnigsgrillen. The EO dressed up as a King and BBQs sausages all day. The funniest part - he does it in his back yard. His wife must really love him. Good luck! 🌭

Webcams! Got to love Germany for them and today I found two with you in beautiful Bremen. I had a friend from Bremen once - Dagmar Beese. If you happen to know her, let me know. In 2004, the Bremen Roland statue and the Bremen City Hall were added to the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites because of their outstanding architecture and testimony to the development of civic autonomy in the Holy Roman Empire. Pity it was pouring with rain. Bremen is also home to the Bremen Town Musicians or Die Bremer Stadtmusikanten, a German fairytale collected by the Brothers Grimm. 🎻

Herzlich Willkommen in Deutschland. Welcome to Germany. You’ve landed in Hannover, Niedersachsen/Lower Saxony. I took you around the city but it was a tiring and frustrating experience. I’ve cached in 35 countries, I speak some German. The labs were not foreigner accessible caching! There is no English equivalent of Strandkorb. Still, the city is pretty. 🇩🇪

Seems like it’s event after event after event in London at the moment. I don’t even go to all of them. This one was at the British Museum, infamous for plundering other countries’ treasures to “keep it safe”. Although they didn’t work out that an employee has been stealing things from the museum for years and other people reported the thefts and were ignored. You can be too big and have too much stuff. 👩⚖️

Happy New Year 2024! You are starting the year at an event in Richmond-Upon-Thames, London. Middlesex was a county in southeast England. It is not known exactly when Middlesex was established as a county, possibly the early tenth century. The creation of Greater London in 1965 incorporated almost all of the historic county of Middlesex, with the rest included in neighbouring ceremonial counties. Had to battle my way to Richmond because Storm Gerrit caused strong winds which affected the trains. 🎆

Goodbye 2023! You are seeing the year out with a big event in Regent’s Park, London, that requires special equipment so the T rating is higher than a normal event. This year was “goggles”. 🥽
