GeoJenni’s Sixty by 60 Trackable Series
About this Trackable
This Trackable series was gifted to GeoJenni in honor of her 59th birthday. GeoJenni, or Jemma as we call her, would love for this Einstein trackable series to inspire people to never quit learning new things, just like Einstein! She loves all things Albert Einstein and has even had Einstein socks! Einstein always tried to make physics and mathematics fun and interesting. GeoJenni was a high school math teacher for many years, and always had an Einstein poster hanging up in her classroom! Her Geocaching profile picture is the iconic “Einstein sticking out his tongue” picture so that’s what was printed on her trackables.
GeoJenni will be celebrating her 60th birthday in June of 2023 and she has 60 Einstein trackables to release by then! She loves to Geocache with her grandkids on all of their crazy adventures. There are 6 sets of 10, each Einstein trackable set is a different color to represent her 5 (and one on the way!) grandkids. Each grandkid chose their favorite color and suggested fun missions for the trackables to go on.
Fun Facts about this trackable series.
All of the trackable codes start with GJ for GeoJenni.
Each one was 3D printed with a custom design featuring an illustration of Einstein with his tongue out. They are 2 in wide and 2 1/2 in tall and each one has a chain to easily attach to anything! It took 5 designs and prototypes before the final design and each trackable took an hour and a half to print. That’s about 100 hours of total printing!!
Each one weighs about 23 grams and uses just over 2 meters of filament. Altogether, the trackables weigh about 1300 grams, which is about as much as a Human Brain!
The trackables used over 120 meters of filament to be printed. If you took that length and ran it from the ground up, it would be taller than the Statue of Liberty (92 meters) and almost as tall as the Great Pyramid of Giza (130 meters).
Each grandkid gave some suggestions for missions they wanted their color-coded trackables to go on, maybe even the one for this trackable. Periwinkle is for GeoJenni (and her 6th grandkid, due September 2022), Silver is for Kaden, Turquoise for Guinevere, Purple for Elise, Yellow for Sutton, and Pink for Riley.
Please post pictures of its progress (want to have more fun with it? Stick your tongue out in the photo, just like Einstein!) and log it, if you take it or just discover it, so that GeoJenni and her Geocaching grandkids can track its adventures!! Please feel free to leave your favorite Einstein quote in the log as well, or maybe even a math joke.
Most importantly, make sure to tell everyone about our awesome "GeoJenni" and how much fun we have geocaching with her!!!
This Einstein Trackable was initially placed by GeoJenni who splits her time between Craig, Colorado and Freeport, Texas. She wants it to travel the world to spread knowledge and fun in celebration of her 60th birthday.
