Hi there, we're M & J, and have been carrying a trackable around for some time, so thought we'd make one ourselves to send out into the world.

As I'm sure you're aware, many British pubs are closing down due to a variety of factors. It always saddens us to see a place we once had fun visiting, playing pool or enjoying a drink on a hot day shut down and decrepit with security grating over the windows. The pubs are an important part of UK life and used to be the central hub of the town, alongside the railway station.

When my father retired, we've been going further out and exploring new places. And on our travels we've found many local beers that we love, that are simply not available in many supermarkets or restaurants. In these times, we have been making an effort to try the local pubs and visit the breweries and distilleries where it all happens, and meeting the people running them.

That's where you come in. If you like the sound of our mission or enjoy visiting these sorts of places, please take this trackable with you. If you visit anywhere from your local pub down the road, to a scotch whiskey distillery in the heart of Scotland, or anywhere in the world that serves alcohol, log this trackable. We'd love photos if possible too!

Of course, drink responsibly, and not at all if you're a designated driver! Though non / low alcoholic drinks have come a LONG way, and there's some great ones out there too now.
