Current Goal

Buzz the Buzzard is on an adventurous flight!

His mission is to soar through as many natural landscapes as possible: forests, mountains, coastlines, moors, and national parks; meeting new geocachers and seeing the beauty of nature along the way.

Eventually, Buzz hopes to find his way back home to Inverness, Scotland, where the Highlands sky is wide and the wind is just right for a buzzard to glide!

Please help Buzz travel from cache to cache, always moving closer to Scotland whenever possible. Share photos of him visiting beautiful natural places. He loves wide open views and wild spaces!

Picked up Buzz the Buzzard yesterday by the East Yorkshire coast; was on a New Years Day walk today at RSPB Fairburn Ings (border of North and West Yorkshire) and found a sizeable cache in a silver birch wood overlooking the River Aire. An RSPB reserve seemed to be the perfect place to drop off this TB! Happy onward journey, Buzz.

Love that your 8 year old was excited by the buzzard!
It was placed by my 14 year old, also a big birding fan!
Happy New Year!

Delighted to find this trackable when grabbing a couple of caches on a NYE trip to Hornsea - the mini geocacher (age 8) is a huge birding fan so was excited by this too. Will move it on to pastures new soon.
